Doctor's Visit

I am pleasantly surprised at my doctor today! He knew the word Polyamory! We were talking about things and he asked my partner's name so I said Jeshua and Phaeton. He mentioned that he caught that I said 2 names. Later on I mentioned Phaeton having another gf. He then asked how long have I been in the polyamorous lifestyle. My jaw almost hit the floor, and I commented about the fact he knew the word. *GRINS*

He upped my dosage on the glucophage, and gave me the prescription for and my BC. Now I have to mail them out. What joy.

My Doctor would have totally lost it. I can almost see him expounding on STD's, what makes a "healthy, stable" relationship, how I've lost my mind...

I am pretty sure DrSM would go nuts on me (have I mentioned the Xtian music she pipes into her office, or the posters and things she has decorating the place?). But all my other professionals would [or are] pretty cool with it.

Ya never know my presbtyerian, theology degreed therapist is taking the whole poly thing in stride although I think she doesnt' agree with it for a minute.
