Had a doctor's appt today.
I went thinking it would be a generic follow up to maybe change my birth control pill again, and then talk about my options. I had breakthru bleeding in Dec while on ortho-novum 7/7/7. They switched my pills to Ortho-tricyclen and in Jan I was fine. Now in Feb, 2 weeks before I should have a period I started bleeding again. Not has heavy as in Dec, but still annoying. Basically I had something for the 2 weeks before my period, during my period, and started my pills again on sat, and still at times having something when I go the bathroom. So my new doc (an ob/gyn) decided to take a sample of my uterus lining. Just to make sure. So I went in thinking I was just going to be talking, then had to strip from the waist down. DAMN that hurt. Speculum in was ok, alittle pressure but just like when a pap is done, then some betadine on the cervix, ok with that. Next was the lovely scraping tool up into my uterus. You might feel alittle cramping.. ALITTLE? I wanted to lift off the examining table. If there is nothing wrong I might be alittle pissed because I went thru it for nothing! I have a follow to discuss the results and plan our next course of action on March 11th. I am still feeling crampy, and yucky from this thing. I took some ibuprofen and that should help. I am hoping tai chi will be able to help me focus away from it.
