Biting my tongue

 a FB friend made a post about how we need to each leave each other alone about what people like etc. He says if you are offended just leave it alone. His examples were cracker barrel, dont eat there if you don't like it, just leave it alone so I can eat there. Statues, then dont go but leave them up because I like them. Bases named after confederates, well I like them so they should stay.  Next was I eat meat, you dont, well leave me alone and dont try to stop me from eating meat. He also tried to say atheists want to remove the bible, and not let him worship. 

What I wanted to respond with was so where does the line get drawn???

I love serving my country but I have to serve at a base that is named after someone who believed I should be a slave. Why should I leave it alone? 

I love having sex with 13 year olds... just leave it alone

I love smoking pot, drinking, doing drugs, just leave it alone. 

I enjoy being nude in public just leave it alone

I enjoy having multiple partners just leave it alone. 

I could probably think of some others. I know some of the ones I put he would be like yeah leave it alone. But there is a line and it is being moved. Some don't like that, but it is needed to heal this country. There is a big difference in some of the items he mentioned and it is sad that he does not see that. No idea and no energy to try to help him see so I just bite my tongue.
