Yesterday Recap

demarianaYesterday I took a 1/2 day and so feel like I wasted the afternoon by taking a nap. It did not even make me feel better or rested because of the weird dreams I was having. I woke up nice and groggy.
Caritas and I jumped in the car and went and got Phaeton. On the way home we stopped at Staples. Caritas faxed in her time card while Phaeton and I wandered about. He found a 64meg video card in the clearance section and got it. We used a card and when signing for the purchase I decided I really liked the pen. I then bought one. *grins* We drove through Wendy's so Caritas could get food and then headed home to decide where Phaeton and I were going for Date night.
We decided on The Stadium. It is this gaming place over off Reynolds Rd. It was ok. More kids than I expected. I figured out you can spend a bunch of money really fast though. We played ntn trivia as we ate dinner. Phaeton came in first. :) The food was pretty good, if to me a bit pricey. We then got cards and played some of the games. I got high score on Ms Pac-Man, but then hardly anyone plays that. They 2 other older games, centipede, and galaga. They have a DDR game that one guy was doing really well on. They also have a bunch of games where you can win tickets. We ended up with 255 tickets which is enough to a bunch of cheap stuff. The skeeball machines were out of whack. *sighs*
All in all it was a fun time. The cosmic bowling area was interesting. I do not bowl though. I played a bunch of games and then wandered around some more. Phaeton got to do a shoot-em up game. They do not having any fighting games though.
We got home about 8:30 and then I headed out about 9:30 to get Jeshua from work. He got me 2 books that had come in with his employee discount. :) I can now start book 4 of 4. :) I just finished book 3 on Thursday so things are still fresh in my mind. I will hopefully finish it in a week. We watched Jake 2.0 before each of us headed to bed.
