*baffled look*

So the other day at work I ran into John and offered to let him purchase the cool dvd holder system he wanted to purchase. We had given him 1/2 the system in the move. We really do not plan to use it since so many movies are gone and such. It was cool, but expensive, and I figured if he would buy it then it would help. He was not interested. Then he said something that totally confused me. He was like I was meaning to tell you that I do not think I will be going to MFM this year. I just looked at him blankly and was like duh. Even if you did go it would not matter to me.

I related this exchange to Caritas and she came up with a reason that he was telling me this. MFM is the con I met John at and it was our 'anniversary'. Maybe he thought that if he goes I would not be able to go because of the memories and worry about seeing him with someone else or something. All I can think about is that I was going to MFM long before I met him and I will be going long after he is gone. Or maybe he thought that we were going to suggest that he carpool or something. I just do not know or do I care. It was just a weird exchange.

Soon, very soon I will never have to see him at work again!!!!!

Work has been interesting. I was on a conference call today. It went well I think. A nice give and take between the 2 sides. I really love my manager and my team lead. They are the 2 that make my days bearable even when other things are going down the tubes.
