Gaming Night and today

There was a gaming night at a local college here in town last night. I went and had a blast. It went from 6pm till 11pm and had all sorts of things going on. I got to play a game of Fluxx and some Munchkin. There was a DnD game but did not get into that, which I am glad about since it went the whole time. There was a small DnD quickie that was done (1 hour) but it only had space for 6 players. I watched them play and read a book while that one was going on. The DM from the Sat game I am in was running it as a prelim to try out the quickie encounters before they play at UKon. I am going to have to see if Phaeton and Caritas want to try and go to some of UKon later this month.

The coolest thing that I did get to play was Rockband. I was the singer! I tried 2 songs both on Medium and did really well. It was lots of fun and so could be addicting. Of course there was not that many girl songs. The first song I did was Hungry Like the Wolf by Duran Duran. Yeah surreal. The 2nd song was a red hot chili peppers song. Brain is forgetting the song right now. It was so not right having a female sing the words though. *giggles*

Today Phaeton and I went out and saw Coraline in 3-D. It was really really good. I so could see it again. It is kinda cool that Wil Wheaton saw this movie and blogged about it as well. I so enjoy reading his blog.

After the movie we can home and then got Caritas from the library. Next it was dinner (take out chinese) and the 3 of us watched Burn After Reading which was a riot! I am getting tired now though since I did not get much sleep last night. Too wired after gaming I think.
