New Job

Ok, I am starting to get excited about the new job. When I first got the offer I was feeling down about it. I was really looking forward to being a 911 operator. It just is not in the cards at this time. Maybe later. Today I went to go pee in a cup for the new job. I also got my boring background check. *grins* I had called HR to find out where to go do the drug test earlier in the day and left a message for the main HR lady. She called me back and informed me that my new supervisor decided he wanted to start me $0.50 high that what I was quoted on Monday!!! This is really cool. I also get to work with someone who I loved working with at Columbia Gas. The hours could be great or a pain in the butt depending on how I look at them. It is 11-8 after training. I might be able to move to 8-5 later, but I might find out that I really enjoy the 11-8.

So I end at MDA on August 4th and start on Monday Aug 7th at the new job. No break at all.

This is going to be a good thing.
