Daily Dose
Feb. 8th, 2006 05:53 pmI actually did work today. JT my immediate supervisor was teasing at times that you should have this many of the calls logged and such. I finally asked him outright what is a good number so I do not feel like I am not doing a good job. He said about 40-50, and I did that many in the day. By the afternoon I was also getting much faster. They have a 72 hour call time turn around. I was logging calls from 2/7 and Ren logged then from 2/6 so the members could be called. My problem is that I was trying to figure out the problem which I did not have to do. All I had to do was log the call into the system. Basically type up what the member was calling about and making sure there was a contact info if it was given. It got me to learn the 3 main systems in use which is cool.
Not much else going on today. I may go out tomorrow for lunch since there is a lot within walking distance of the offices downtown. I really wish they were not moving offices. *sighs* It is easy for me to get to work and get home where it is right now.
Tonight Caritas and I are heading to a bdsm munch. Should be fun I hope. I think I will bring a small selection of the library. I need to get a better system to handle the check ins and check outs. Right now too bulky with how many books there are.
Oh, got my hearing letter from the Unemployment office. What fun. It is on March 2nd and in person at the local office. I am just about ready to say fuck it and just let it go. I know it is causing me undo anger and stress. NISOURCE just is so not worth it. It was interesting to find out that CKY got more commission complaints in the month of Jan of 06 than they did in all of 2005. If they came to me and offered a raise and lots of other stuff to just come back and take calls I would laugh. They made their bed, now they have to deal with it.
