I had one small thought that I had to get up and go to work this morning and that was it. No dread in the pit of my stomach. Just excitement once the thought fled and I got to thinking about what is actually planned for this morning. *grins* I did have one dream about work last night. It was that I found my lost key card and the keys to my file cabinet. I decided then to take them back to work. Very weird. I also had another dream that we got another roommate and had to clean out the living room and clear off the double sized bed that seemed to be in one corner of the room.
Guess that is about it. Right now just waiting for Kilroy and Dragoon to get here. Of course I am talking to Dragoon on AIM, so they are not on their way yet. I figure when he logs off I have to finish up getting ready.

Today has been a very good day. I am taking today and tomorrow off, and then starting Sunday will be sending out resumes like a mad woman, and going to job fairs and such. Too bad I am not independently wealthy and just did not have to work. That would be nice.
Got back from shooting at about 12:45 and quickly gave Kilroy his birthday gift since he had to get to class. I left the muffins in his car though. Whomever has the muffins can eat them, or give them out to friends. I can always make more. At least I remembered my jacket this time. *grins* The morning was not what was originally planned but was lots of fun. When I got home I decided to take a walk, outside, in the snow. Yes it has been snowing, but extremely light. Mostly a flake here and there. I so want to go to the Louisville Zoo to see the snow leopards at this time of year. They are probably active. Ok, was planning to walk to King of Food for lunch, but realized that was a bit ambitious with how out of shape I am. I ended up instead getting a very good lunch at Flag Fork Herb Farm. Yummy. I also picked up a bracelet. Very nice.
What is it about people that speak to babies, elderly little old ladies, and some animals all in the same tone. I watched this 60 y/o or so woman speak in the sing song voice while speaking to her 90 y/o mother. I am guilty of this as well. I just find it sad I guess. I do not want to get old enough to have that tone of voice used when someone is helping me to get around.
