Hello LJ World

I have been sick since about Wednesday. It started with a stuffed up nose and got worse from there. I asked to have training on Wed so that I would not be taking calls. I went home sick at 1:15 on Thursday. Bed was so calling my name. If Friday had been any busier I would have left that day as well. Today I have been on again off again blah. I have not taken any drugs today and I feel congestion wise like I am on something, so I think it is getting better.

All this explanation to get to the fact that I miss not being able to do DDR. I knew I would be totally wasted if I did any though. I just got to thinking when the rest of Random had left that I could do something. Maybe a short walk to dollar tree. That would give me alittle exercise and not be too taxing on my breathing. I threw on some shoes and headed out. I got to the light I needed to cross at and thought I could do alittle more. I decided to keep walking and I ended up crossing at the light in front of Applebee's stadium. (about a 1/2 mile up the road) So I probably got a mile walk today. Not too bad. I did stop in dollar tree on the way home and was going to pick up a couple of things. Maybe some stocking stuffers as well as some wrapping paper and a card for Phaeton's birthday tomorrow. IT was WAY too freakin' crowded. *shudder* I could not get to the cards I wanted to look at or anything. I finally just put my basket down and walked out. I did not but anything back. I was that edgy in the store.

Our ninja lawn care people got the check I mailed today. I had put a note in with the payment stating that I was unsure how much I still owed and to please call or write to let me know. They called today stating that we are all paid up. I am glad I only sent enough money to cover 3 visits instead of 4 like I had planned.

Work is going good. I am getting some overtime when I can. It helps so that we can have some extra spending money.

I have been playing in a cribbage tourney on Furry Muck lately. I am in the semi-finals and up 3 games to 1. (best out of 7). I so hope I can get to the finals. I really only go on FM now to play cribbage. They have a cool league.

I cleaned the living room today. Most of my mess. I usually just bring stuff in and drop it. *grins* Some has been sitting there since I got back from shopping on Black Friday.

Guess that is about it. I have the house to myself right now. Very nice. I sometimes need some alone time.

I lied

I felt up to doing some DDR, so I did some. I did 2 4-song nonstop mode games. I started out with trying to pass some of the missions. I was able to pass 2 more. They are definitely getting harder. One has a goal to get NG (No Good) on the freeze arrows. That is basically meaning you are trying to fail. Another states you can not hit 2 arrows at the same time. So all jumps are suppose to be slightly off. So you need to pass the mission by failing at some of the moves. *shudder* It will take me awhile to do that. They started off so easy. Lulled me into a false sense of "I can do this!" *grins*

I also got all the backlog of coupons cut out and ready for shopping tomorrow. I think we will be going to Meijer some time before Phaeton heads out to gaming. I know we need food.
