Daily Dose of Demariana
May. 23rd, 2002 07:10 pmToday Phaeton and I dropped Jeshua off at work and then went to get LadyPeaceM. We got there about 11:30 and headed back out at noon. The 3 of us stopped in at the Starr Fabric sale. *DROOL* We got about 30 yards of different fabric. I also did get some sample books for sydb42's mom. I only got 6 though. There are boxes, but there are only 4 or 5 different kinds. I got 2 copies of 3 different books. I didnt get the book with only whiteish fabric in it. We had fun trying to find bolts with not alot on it so we could pay $1/yard for the roll. We got 9 different fabrics. Mostly pastels left now though. ALOT of bolts though. I hope Polyanna doesnt go hog wild. *grins* I wish I had more time to look for other fabric. I feel like I might have missed something.
We then got back on the road and got to Lexington about 2:30. The bank had called and we got the loan!!! Phaeton and I headed out and signed the papers. Home again to call the contractor and set things up to sign the contract. They should begin work about June 17. *fingers and toes are crossed*
Jeshua called to say he was finished work, and the 3 of us headed out to get him and go to Waffle house. We are regulars so the waitress knew that I wanted a diet coke no ice, and a glass of ice. She was also kind enough to give us a full back of condiment packets. We are all set to make sandwiches at the con. Heck I think she gave us enough mayo to make tuna sandwiches. We got mayo, mustard, ketchup, salt and pepper from her. I almost asked for jelly. Needless to say she got about a 20% tip.
Back at home we did a drive by dropping off of the guys and then LadypeaceM and I headed to the closing Kmart. I spent almost $20 and got some cool stuff. I picked up 2 unopened red lipsticks as well as some other makeup. Just alot of knick knacks. Based on getting a broken small PDA, I am staying away from the electronics. I really dont want to waste my money. If we think about getting the elliptical trainer I will be opening the box at the store to make sure it is ok before I buy it.
Now we are home and I still need to pack. I have no idea what to take :) It is only for 3 days I should be able to deal. Mom is going to be feeding our cats which is nice.
