Water Water Everywhere

Everywhere being the basement floor. Again. Same spot that they tighted before worked itself loose and started to spray water all over the place. What joy. Phaeton commented when I called that the cats had an interesting day. He got up and noticed them concentrating on the heat register upstairs, then staring at the one down under the window. Then they were by the air return under my desk in the living room. Phaeton then realized that something was making a noise. He realized the AC wasnt on so he went down to the basement to investigate. WATER! The hot water is now off, but we have cold water. At least we hadnt moved anything back from the last time this happened so the water path was basically clear. There was one box that got it, and the cat carrier. I called the plumber and they are coming tomorrow sometime. I would have tried to insist they come today, or called another plumber if we didnt have any water. I really like this plumber though. It is cool that he bills. I know where some of my overtime pay will be going.

VACATION!

I got my 1/2 day,and of course it starts off with a water problem. I am hoping the basement dries out enough so I can clean down there this week. Today's plans are to get a nap, going shopping at meijer, and then get Jeshua from work. Tonight is date night with Phaeton. I think we might go get a movie or 2 to rent. Tomorrow the car is getting a tune up (at 7am, *GROAN*) and the plumbers are coming sometime. I was suppose to go over and see minikin but that will have to wait till next week. *sighs* LadyPeaceM arrives tomorrow night as well :) Sat I get to hang out with LadyPeaceM when Phaeton and Jeshua go into work. Maybe we will make brownies or something.

That is about all the plans I have so far. I know this week is going to go by too fast. *grumps* Then on memorial day I get to head back to work to do 12 days in a row.

Meijer Trip

Once again I got a cashier who doesnt let me know when a coupon doesnt scan. She shorted me about $2 I think. *shrugs* No way to go back and get it fixed. I really need to watch the screen. I know I buy what I have coupons for. I think I have messed up once. And when that happened I apologized profusely.

Ok, onto the totals, 65 items, for $43.70 with a savings of ad and coupons of $50.74. Not too bad. It helps that I was buying 12 cans of cat food and they have lowered the price down to 29cents again. It ranges from 29-45 cents it seems. I also got some snacks for the marcon trip. I have one more week to get some good things on sale to take. Any requests polyanna? *grins*

Side note: I just wish I had purchased gas before going to meijers instead of after. In the 2 hours I was out the gas at this one station jumped 10cents. I knew it was going to go up, because all the other stations around have raised prices. I was just hoping it would be later. I know the station by our house is one of the last ones in the city to up their prices. I just waited too late.
