Daily Drivel

Before work today I took pictures of the basement, called the building inspector, the mortgage place, a new contractor, and the plumber. The plumber is coming out tomorrow to fix the tub again. The new contractor is coming out to give an estimate on the basement on friday. The building inspector told me that I should contact the mediation center of KY and the attorney general to get more help. She sent a letter to the skipped out contractor on feb 1st. The mortgage people are still waiting on the payoff amount.

Went to work and got put on wireless. Pretty good day. I got ALOT of coupons cut out that LadyPeaceM gave me. Some I plan to use on my trip to Meijer this week. I have to go to Meijer and Kroger this week to get my items. I wish I had some specific coupons. It doesnt help that the people I locally get coupons from use the same products. (quilted Northern for one) I am also thinking about going to Joseph Beth on a weekly basis to check out what coupons are in the paper from other cities. I know Louisville get better coupons. They got friskies coupons that we didnt get recently. I am thinking about getting back into trading again, but I have found that if I hit up for the coupons from people at work on sunday I get enough copies for most to sustain me. *grins* At times there are specific ones I would love lots of.

I then got alittle bit of surplus, and now I am thinking about dinner. Maybe go for a walk. I dont know. Could get up the guts and head to the gym that I havent been to in months. Before TaiChi on Thurs I have been walking the track, and also using the elliptical trainer. I kinda miss that machine. On a positive note a coworker mentioned she can see that I have lost some weight. I dont see it. The scale doesnt see it. I need to stop going on the scale at work. It depresses me.

Time to go eat and snuggle a kitty.

Getting a 2nd Car

I know we need a 2nd car. 3 people sharing one car is hard all around. The other day when I was at the credit union I looked at the sticker price on some of their repos. One is a 1996 Tracker for 127/month for 48 months, so about $6100 total. If we get a good refinancing on the house we could handle another car payment. Today when Jeshua and I stopped at the bank before I headed to work we took a quick look at the car. I want to get Phaeton over there to see the car and his opinion. Right away I know it would need new tires. Plus it has been in at least one accident. I think someone caught the back corner. (body damage) I also noticed another scrape, but then the car is black, so scrapes would show up easily. It has 4 doors, tinted windows, 4 wheel drive, and an automatic drive. That is all we could figure out with the quick look we gave it. I would want Phaeton with me and have a car mechanic friend look at it before we give this any serious consideration. I figure any used car we get would be the intown car, and the toyota we have would be the travel car, since it is still fairly new.
