Ugh

Well, it is morning. I woke up with a headache. Let me backtrack. I went to bed early. R was nice enough to go get D from work at 11. I was drifting off and D called to say he was out alittle early. R had already left to go get him. I bundled back up under 2 blankets because I was COLD and started to drift off again. Then R came to bed. That woke me up alittle. Next was the music stopping so I could hear typing again, and waking up enough to ask D when he might be coming to bed. The out like a light again. The last sleep interuption was suddenly realizing that a cat was starting to throw up, and said cat was on the bed. Sat up, tossed the cat off the bed, then waited till Melodie was done throwing up. Got up, turned on the light and cleaned up the hairball. That was at about 3:30. I felt like it should be so much later. Dustbunnie started in on licking fingers and kneading about 6am just before the alarm was going to go off. That is when I realized I had a headache. The alarm is too fucking loud. That is my morning so far, and it is only 7:10am.

Cuties, Contractor and life

Back from the vet. Serendipity and Strife got their 2nd shots today. In 3 weeks they get the 3rd round and get to get fixed! I had it confirmed, Sera is a girl, and Stri is a boy. What is weird is Sera weighs more than Strife, but he looks bigger. I know Melodie was thinking when I left with the carrier, Cool now the kittens are leaving. I havent seen him yet. He is going to be like, why did you bring them back? When I was at the vet this woman brought in 6 Husky puppies. They were so CUTE. I would have loved to get one. I dont like dogs awhole lot, but certain ones are just really nice. A wolf/dog mix would be cool to get. I just dont have the land for a big dog, or one that needs a good area to run.

Now onto the contractor stuff. I am waiting for him to show up. Last night his truck broke down between Lowes and our house, when he was suppose to be bringing the materials. I feel sorry that the guy keeps having all these problms. Of course a small part of my brain wonders if I am being too trusting, and he is scamming me. Hopefully he will be here soon.

Oh one thing I forgot to mention this morning on my waking up post, the toilet stopped up today. I had to go out after I got off work today and buy a plundger. We hadnt gotten one yet. I know they cheap, and I have been meaning to buy one, but it hadnt happened. The one day I kinda need surplus, I dont get any. Of course the toilet also has a leak somewhere. I need to get that looked at so that we dont run our water bill up. So D was mowing the lawn when I got home with the plundger. I didnt want to stop him, so I plundged it myself. *giggles*. Such a small thing to feel so proud of.

I ordered 3 more DVDs. Being part of the columbia house DVD club is WAY too easy. I have already fullfilled my obligation of 3 DVDs before 9/03. Now I just need to fullfill my cookbook obligation for the good cook bookclub. Heck I need to start cooking.

Getting a new toy

We will get a satellite dish in about 24 days. They were running a special, the dish for $1 (plus S&H) and installation for 69.95. Total for the whole thing was 109.99, then get 117 channels for $9/month. I like that. I had been looking at the special that was buy the system for 199, get installed free, then the $9/month special for awhile now. This deal is just better. I am excited. :) Just wondering how long it will take. Of course I was an idiot and didnt take down a # of where to call if I dont get the system. I am so brain dead at times.

Work

I got alittle bit of surplus tonight, so that was nice. I also got to pick my 2nd vacation selection. All the weeks in July were gone, so I couldnt get the week for AC, but I was able to get the week before memorial day, so we can go to Marcon. Yes I schedule my vacations around the cons I want to go to. The first vacation selection I picked Labor Day week. That is for Mephit Fur Meet. Work does vacations based on senority. I get to pick 3 weeks, but have to wait till the ones who have higher senority than I have picked. My prob is that I use up all my vacation and personal days by the end of Sept, and then I have to go 3 months w/o any vacation days. It really sucks.
