Life is good. Just finished watching Osmosis Jones and Cats & Dogs. Both were pretty good. We ordered pizza. Called and tried to get Pizza Slut, but they called back and said they dont deliver where we are. Hello, they have delivered here before. Well, your street is on our list of high crime and our female driver refuses to go. So I told them to cancel the stupid order. We are going to go online and complain to corporate tomorrow when we are more calm. We then called Dumb and Slows and went and picked up 2 pizzas since I had a carry out special coupon. I didnt want to have to go out. R was feeling like he ruined the night, because he had suggested pizza and was going to pay for it. He wanted pizza hut. I feel bad that he couldnt get the pizza he wanted. I just DID NOT want to drive out to the Pizza Hut because they feel unsafe coming to my house. I know the crime rate here, and damnit, yes if you are out past midnite walking alone, you have a higher chance at getting mugged. But this was at 7pm. Crime in this area is a late night thing. I look at our area every wed in the paper. *sighs* Our street is so QUIET and nothing goes on exactly where we are. It is weird, about 2 streets away in most directions, it is worse. Right here though is quiet and peaceful. Many of my neighbors are older people. Some hispanics in the duplexes down the street. Just a very quiet area. The only crime on this street has been when I lightly backed into the guy's car across the street. And he didnt report or anything. No damage. *Sighs* We are in a pizza dead zone it seems. Cant get Papa John's or Mad Mushroom (locale place) Dont know if Sir Pizza delivers. We can get Donatos (not the greatest) Pizza Magia (even worse) and Dominoes. I am going to get really sick of dominoes if that is all we order from.

Work was ok. I got moved to wireless twice. All Voicestream and Alltel calls. Nothing memorable asked for today. I do think it is cool that if the customers actually knew about some of the things, they might actual ask for some of the enhanced features. We can look up movie times, resturant reviews, horoscopes, the weather, stock quotes, scores to games, and something else. Oh well, I dont remember what else. We do have to promote the movie listings. I enjoy looking up movie times.

I think that is about it. Time to head to bed and rest up for day 3 of 7 in a row at work. Maybe we will get lots of coupons tomorrow and I will have something to do at work.

Pizza Delivery

Before you go and complain to Pizza Hut, you might want to stop and consider: It's an employee-friendly company that allows individual drivers to determine and follow their own safety conscience.

As to alternatives... Ages and ages ago (back before Critter was born), we used to eat Sir Pizza a lot. Now, either they delivered, or my brother picked it up. But I clearly remember feeding the tiny corner pieces of the square-cut round pizza to our dog, Q.

If you do decide to officially contact Pizza Hut about your concern, it might be useful to copy the letter to the City Council, and to the Herald-Leader.

And cut about for special deals on DiGiorno.

Hey you. :O) Just catching up what I've been missin'! You could always try Bearno's or Pizza Magia. I think Bearno's is kinda expensive but my aunt always gets good coupons for P. Magia and she likes 'em.
Thanks for worryin' about me...maybe we can do somethin' after the holidays when I get out of prison. ;o)

Bearno's is too far away. I dont think they would deliver here. My 2 guys dont like pizza magia much. Our prob is I like at times Donatos, but they dont. The ones we can agree on are Dominos (they deliver) Pizza Hut, (at times they deliver) Papa Johns (no delivery) and Little Caesers (no delivery, only at the Kmart over here)
