Happy Anniversary

In May of 1995 I met Phaeton at a con in DC for the first time RL. We had been talking for months before that on IRC. We continued to talk on irc, and then in Dec he came for a visit. After a convention in Jan he called and said he had enough money to either get a bus ticket to come and live in KY, or to go back to CT. I said to get the ticket to KY. On January 15th, 1996 he arrived at the Greyhound station in Lexington.

I met Jeshua at MFM in Sept of 2000. I think it was love at first sight. We continued to get to know each other over FurryMuck and ICQ for the next couple of months. In January Phaeton and I drove down to TX and loaded up the uhaul and moved Jeshua to Kentucky. We arrived back home to the apartment on January 15th, 2001.

And here is to many more years together. Even though I do not say it enough I love you both. We have had some big ups and downs but I think there has been much more good than bad.

Daily Dose

Lazy day mostly. Did drive Caritas to Louisville for family dinner. Was a nice trip. Her family is ok in small doses. The food was way more salty than usual. Caritas probably is going to talk to her mom about it. Her mom likes me though since she made me Deviled Eggs. *YUM!* Got to catch up on her family's gossip and just chit chat. I did have to correct some misconceptions about natural gas prices. Not sure they listened though. Even though I do not work for the gas company anymore, I still feel it is a small duty to explain how the prices are done. Even though I feel like I got a raw deal from Nisource, I still respect the natural gas utilities. Slightly hard thing to do.

I applied to do a research study, but never got an email back. I even called just in case. Guess they got enough people. It would have been $150 for a 10 hour study. Was suppose to be tomorrow. On Wed I go in for the 3 hour test to be a TSA screener. Maybe that one will pan out. I still have not heard from the LFUCG about the 911 operator.

Guess that is about it. No idea what the plans are for tomorrow.
